Enables simplified remote control of many Nikon digital SLR functions.
This software remotely controls most functions of Nikon digital SLRs from a computer that is connected via USB cable or though wired or wireless LAN using a wireless transmitter. Advanced functions of the new D3S and D300 such as the Viewer for preview and selection o images prior to transferto a computer, LiveView function and PictureControl System are supported. It also supports the workflow of Nikon's exclusive photofinishing software Capture NX (optional) and the browser and viewer software View NX.
• Most settings of Nikon digital SLRs, that are connected via USB cable, such as exposure mode, shutter speed, and aperture can be controlled remotely from a computer, Wired or wireless LAN is also available when using a wireless transmitter.
• In addition to direct transfer of images from a camera to computer, all procedures from shooting to saving images are smoothly processed.
• Enhanced viewer function enables thumbnail display of images stored in a computer.
• Integration with other Nikon software:
• Support for ViewNX browser and viewer software.
• Support for Capture NX photo-finishing software.
Compatible with WiFi operation: In addition to supporting USB cable connections, Camera Control Pro offers compatibility with the optional wireless transmitter models WT-2a, WT-3a and WT-4a. When attached to a digital SLR, the WT-2a, WT-3a and WT-4a enable remote shooting and setting via a wireless LAN over WiFi.
Improved graphic user interface: A simulated (camera) LCD panel on the computer screen performs the same function as the camera’s viewfinder display which has been modified to be consistent with those used in the latest cameras for smoother operation.
Compatible with Nikon's Image Authentication Function: Image data can be transferred and stored without affecting the authentication function.

• When a D3S is connected for shooting, images can be simultaneously recorded to a memory card inserted in the camera.
• Compatibility with 32- and 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate has been added. Under a 64-bit environment the software operates as a 32-bit application.
• Compatibility with 64-bit Windows Vista Home Basic / Home Premium / Business / Enterprise / Ultimate (Service Pack 2) editions has been added. Under a 64-bit environment the software operates as a 32-bit application..

• D1-series (D1, D1H, D1X) are not supported under Windows Vista or Windows XP Service Pack 3. D1-series camera owners should not update to Camera Control Pro 2.7.0.
